I don’t feel bad for pulling people out of ignorance, there’s nothing blissful about not educating yourself about what you support and buy into.

I totally agree about friends and family though. I find it really hard when people I love and care about just don’t understand the true horrors behind my decision to be vegan, and aren’t as outraged as I am about things. It’s a really hard dynamic when you care about someone who just doesn’t agree with what you see as compassionate common sense.
